Love INC of Greater O'Brien County is looking for qualified Christian individuals to join our team for the following positions:

Administrative Assistant (part-time)

Reports to: Executive Director

Purpose: Coordinate and/or perform a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, and ministry support.

Responsibilities: Provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to Executive Director and other staff, including but not limited to:

  • Proofread letters, reports, and curriculum 
  • Data entry 
  • Telephone, email, and verbal communication and greeting and directing visitors 
  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable, including accurate recordkeeping of income and expenses and preparing internal financial reports 
  • Coordinate and oversee office supply inventory 
  • Assist with day-to-day operation and maintenance of building and grounds 
  • Assist with ministries and other special projects, as needed 
  • Coordinate ministry supply inventory, donation drives, and distribution of items to various locations 

Qualifications:

  1. Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the Apostles’ Creed
  2. Commitment to personal spiritual growth
  3. Discernment, non-judgmental attitude and the ability to listen, empathize, and accept others
  4. Above average organization skills
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication
  6. Detail-oriented, striving for excellence
  7. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions 
  8. Ability to work independently and cooperatively 
  9. Computer skills: Excel, Word, Publisher, financial software (Quickbooks), custom database (Cool Focus) or ability to learn quickly 
Spanish Ministries Coordinator (part-time)

Reports To: Executive Director

Purpose: Assist non-English speakers with all services and coordinate Life Together classes for Spanish-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate classes for Spanish speaking clients and attend Life Together weekly.
  2. Recruit, train, and oversee Spanish speaking volunteers as necessary.
  3. Maintain accurate client records.
  4. Maintain client confidentiality.
  5. Assist the Executive Director in developing relationships with Spanish speaking churches.
  6. Ensure intakes are being completed with Spanish speaking clients.
  7. Translate documents and curriculum from English to Spanish.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the Apostles’ Creed.
  2. Discernment, non-judgmental attitude and the ability to listen, empathize, and accept others.
  3. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  4. Healthy, professional boundaries.
  5. Good telephone and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and cooperatively.
  7. Reliability and dependability.
  8. Detail-oriented and well-organized.
